Personalized service is a hallmark of Jay’s practice, and he prides himself on getting to know each client on a personal level in order to be able to offer personalized advice. Jay stays in touch with all of his clients through all stages of life and in all market conditions, making adjustments to their portfolios as circumstances warrant. In order for Jay to be able to provide this personalized service to each client, new clients are accepted by referral only.
Jay has access to, and offers fee-based money management services, tax-advantaged investing strategies, retirement planning, estate planning for wealth preservation and long-term care protection.
Jay holds FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 securities registrations through LPL Financial, as well as life, accident and health insurance licenses, and is an LPL Investment Advisor Representative. He holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Florida State University and is a Certified Fund Specialist. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute. In 2011, Jay was named a Five Star Wealth Manager*, and he is a member of LPL’s prestigious Patriots Club (Based on annual production), representing the top ten percent of LPL’s 10,000 financial advisors. In 2012, Jay was named a Five Star Wealth Manager in an article in Boston Magazine, an honor bestowed on fewer than 2% of financial advisors in the Boston area.
Jay and his wife Sheila, both natives of Cape Cod, now make their home in Kingston, Mass., with their two children, Spencer and Skyler. The Irvings enjoy traveling and skiing, and the children play youth hockey and lacrosse, which Jay coaches.
